Sometimes Google Calendar and Google maps does strange things with addresses, or you misread the date and location. We have a lot of write-ins scheduled, and they're at different coffee shops in different suburbs.

What if you go to a coffee shop at what you think is the right time, and no one is there?
Just put out a sign stating 'Write-in NaNoWriMo' and see if someone joins you.
It is possible that you're at the wrong location, or time, or that something held up the person who was hosting. Rather than looking for the 'right' location, just set up at the place you are. And write. Remember, that is the main point, so try to write no matter where you end up.

One year ago, there were a group of us near the back at Caribou and I was watching to see if anyone came in and looked like they were looking for writers. (As opposed to not being part of NaNoWriMo and just wanting an empty table.) Several people joined us. There was another table that was enthusiastically greeting their friends (or so I thought). It wasn't until I walked by and saw a NaNoWriMo sticker that I realized they were there for the same write-in I was there for. They weren't all friends, they just looked up with a smile and said they were there for the write-in so people joined them. From our table, it looked like they were all old friends.

That's one of the great things about write-ins. You already have so much in common with other people who are doing NaNoWriMo, it's like joining friends who have a task to do. (Since we spend most of our time typing.)
