I did it... Am doing it. The day is finally here, and I am dreading it.
That's right... I'm writing a fantasy story. The idea hit me and I've started to plot it out and right the first few pages. I'm not sure what it'l manifest into; could be a short story, could be a novella, could be a three part series! Who knows... but I begrudgingly hang my head and join the hoard of fantasy writers of the site.
I'm hand writing it in a very, verynice leather journal that I received a year ago as a gift. Seemed fitting, as the journal hasn't been doing anything and has the type of feel that I would normally attribute to a fantasy novel.
"Calligraphy" is a strong word for how I'm writing the whole thing. I would love to write it in ink, however I don't have a decent pen that still works. Instead I'm just using the pen that I normally write with and making it look somewhat fancy~
Nothing too special, but committing not to edit it as I go by using pencil or anything, so by the end it'll look like a handwritten account of the event.
My wall, however, is currenly covered in a post it note outline, so I at least know where I'm going with the story and on't get half way through and realize I want to change the beginning.

*Sigh.* Off I go to write.
Wow, Katherine--I find myself very impressed (beautiful calligraphy).
Are you hand-writing it in ink? What kind of pen are you using?
