so the back story: as i was trying to sign up for nano, and the site kept giving me a 404, i decided to do some planning...since i am a rough planner so i at least know the beginning, middle, and end. If i don't do that, i tend to write and it has no rhyme or reason...
so...what do i do? My A.D.H.D goes into over drive and i start hyperfocusing on this site i once found on tumblr and i go NUTS for DAYS trying to find it but can't seem to find!!!! until!!! I FIND IT! duh!!
it's PEREFCT for you planners...or people who just have this ONE idea pop up at random and you HAVE to write it down before you forget. you can create a free account. you can create chapters...and outline them or write them. you can create plotlines or charaters. it pretty much saved my life as far as getting my story organized and being able to write scenes down that i randomly thought were good.
so, it was a relief to have this site at my hands...and i was able to rough outline my begining, middle, and end so that my story didn't go in all directions and never find it's way downward
i love it. but, it wasn't the site i had been orignially looking for. after doing a tumblr tag search on litlift, i found THE site i had been looking for!
it's pretty much a site where you can hash out your characters. create a character and answer all the fields such as birthday, favorite food, personality, looks, pet peeves ect. you can then create relationships between characters and it's a GREAT way to hash things out...or perhaps if you dont' know much about your character.
i find that this helps me know my characters more. When they do something, i know why. when they reach for something off the kitchen shelf, i know why.
so, i thought id share these sites if they haven't already been shared already! i find them EXTREMELY useful and i don't know how i'd get by with out!
you are very welcome. I figure this could be of some great use to fellow NaNoWriMers and saves them the headache of searching endlessly like i did. Goodness, it's saved my butt SO many times...and i encourage everyone to check it out!
