Each year the NaNoWriMo staff works tirelessly, long hours to keep things running smoothly for all of you. Just as we volunteers manage things locally, the staff manages the tremendous logistics of coordinating all of the regions and the many volunteers (did you know that there are over 900 MLs worldwide?). They keep the servers humming (even though there were some hiccups under the enormous load, the site mostly stayed up this year) and improved the workings of the forums that are at the heart of NaNo, processing and priortizing bug reports, and introducing new features like the improved editors.
There's the fulfillment end as well, managing the donations and finances, fulfilling the orders in the donation station and online store.
And those at the top helped arrange the many goodies you have coming your way, especially those of you who write 50k and validate in November.
I encourage you to stop by one of the following threads and say thank you to the staff.
