New fun cafepress items for the fall!

written by on

The NaNoWriMo fall preparation is underway; as folks may know, we have a bunch of Cafepress shops set up with various merchandise as a fundraiser (albeit at a very minor scale). I was involved in a forum exchange with Saker Pup, one of the ML’s for Montana and she coined the phrase Cyborg Ninja Helper Wombats. Intrigued, I sketched one up:

What do you think? And he’s a November Novelist!

What should we use for our chats?

written by on

We have used our jabber room for our online instant messaging for years; now there are new technologies available. Please help us to determine which technologies and tools we should use this fall by participating in this poll (doodle.com).

When participating in the poll, use your NaNoWriMo handle.

Thanks!

Online Pitchapalooza

written by on

Just saw the post on the NaNoWriMo blog about the online Pitchapalooza.

Just send in your 200-word or less pitch to arielle@thebookdoctors.com by February 15th, 2011. Twenty-five pitches will be chosen randomly and critiqued by Arielle and David on their blog, www.thebookdoctors.com/blog. A winner will be chosen on March 1, 2011. The winner will receive an introduction to an appropriate agent or publisher for his/her book.

Plus, anyone who buys a copy of The Essential Guide To Getting Your Book Published gets a free consultation worth $100 (please send proof of purchase to email above).
