Good Evening my friends and fellow writers!! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself! My name is Patrick Walton and I'm a current resident of Lisle, IL. This year will be my first experience with NaNoWriMo and I could not possibly be more excited! My apologies for missing out on the workshops the last 2 weeks at the Naperville Public Libraries, I had a pre-planned vacation to Vegas last weekend, and have been very ill since my return this weekend as well. No, not due to alcohol, I caught some sort of virus on the return trip home. :( However, I plan on attending the PotLuck on 10/26, and hope to meet some fellow aspiring novelists! I would like to write several novels in various genres, but am starting this year with my Goblin Fantasy novel I have been imagining the last couple years. Is anyone else in Lisle? What are your thoughts on NaNoWriMo? I also hope to network and make some lasting friendships as well on this journey.
