Yay! Okay I asked the library...haven't heard back yet. They asked for a headcount...it looks like it's possible, but they're iffy about allowing snacks unless we go on the porch.
I'd love to do a write in there at some point! It would depend on the date though.

Okay! Date is set for Nov. 17th-this Sunday 1-4pm. :) Sorry for the late response! I'll be there no matter what. It's in the meeting room-walk in the first set of doors, turn right, go to the end of the hall. I'll see if I can get a sign up somewhere. Otherwise, you can probably ask around. :)
Messenger Public Library, corner of Oak Stand Rte 31 in North Aurora. It's set a little back from the road, behind a church and some dentistry/eye-doctor buildings. Entrance is on Oak. :)
I placed it in the Google calendar with a start time of 1:15 since the library doesn't open until 1 and I didn't want anyone showing up before it opened. Have fun!
Also, if anyone has a spare working laptop that can open/edit/save to/from a flashdrive using either .docx or .odt files from say, Word 2010 or LibreOffice 4.1 that they could bring, that would be greatly appreciated! I'm not sure if the library will have any spare laptops to lend out that day or not.
Thanks to everyone who came! Some of the employees offered to have us back anytime, so I'll see if I can get something worked out if anyone's interested in doing that again. I felt like it was fairly productive, at least. :)
By the way, I have an idea for the picking up the police car scene-I'll have a mob pick up a couple guard towers and parade them around. Guards still inside and everything. What do you think? :)
I'm so sorry I couldn't make it :/ Please let me know if you're planning another one before NaNo ends, and I'll try to make it :)

Anyone interested in meeting at the North Aurora Messenger Public library some Saturday/Sunday afternoon to write for a few hours? :)
I would love to meet up on a Sunday afternoon - Sundays are going to be my most reliable writing days this month, I think.

Do you have a time frame you would prefer?
I'm not much of a morning person - mid-afternoon is pretty much ideal for me, but I can manage before noon if I have to. :)
Okay :) I should be going back after the meeting today so I'll check with them then. Thanks! :) I'll post back here when I have more info.
