Hi everyone. I need an insult a wife can use when her husband leaves for three months for space exploration without an explanation. She's already thrown the flowers against the wall. She's now saying "You know I needed you. I've lost the babies in the first trimester. But no, you self-absorbed ...."
I don't know what's the best term to use. She does love the guy, but she's well beyond irritation. I don't want a vulgar insult, but something with a zing to it.
That's a tough one! It seems like it needs a really personal touch... like she could compare him to someone in his life who is very unreliable and hurtful (an absentee father or some such). Otherwise, I'm not sure where I would take it.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
