Not only is there a write-in at the Warrenville libary (officially 1-4, but the library doesn't close until 5) with free coffee, tea, wifi and a possibility of not one, but two MLs showing up with fabulous prizes, but....

There is also a meet up over an early dinner at Montri Thai in Warrenville at 5:00, 1.5 miles from the library. (I recommend taking Batavia Road between the library and the restaurant. The restaurant will be on the right just before the light at Highway 59.)

This is a chance to kick-back and talk about your novel, how the writing is going, or even, gasp, non writing stuff with fellow writers.

You don't have to go to both, but if you are planning on coming to dinner, please RSVP in this thread so I can get the appropriate-sized table at Montri Thai. It doesn't have wifi, but isn't usually busy, so if people wanted to stay and write afterward, they probably could as long as they don't need wifi.

The restaurant is at 2S535 Illinois 59, Warrenville (That's 2 South 535.)

Google maps seems to be correct, but last year some people thought it was inWest Chicago--the restaurant is in Warrenville --actually on Batavia Road just east of Highway 59 in a mini-mall near Family Foods.

I'll join you for dinner after work - I should be able to get there by 5:30. Mmm, Montri Thai.

When you get to the library, check both meeting rooms (near the upper-level entrance, one by the circulation desk and one in the foyer) - if we get more than about half a dozen people planning to come, I may move us into the larger meeting room to make sure we don't get too cramped.

I'll be at the write in for sure. 50/50 chance I'll join you guys for dinner as well.

I suggest we use the naperwrimo.org/wordcount spreadsheet to keep track of people's progress across the write-in.

I can't make it out to Warrenville, but I might join the spreadsheet virtually for a writing marathon at home.

If I remember, I'll join the jabber chat from Warrenville and maybe you can stop by there to join in the word wars remotely.

In case anyone is still wondering whether or not to drop by: we have now officially taken over both of the Library's meeting rooms, so feel free to take your pick of available seating! I'll be here until 4, Katharine and the rest of the dinner crew until about a quarter to five.
