Just wanted invite you to our write-in this Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon. We'll have donuts and coffee to help you get past 26,672 words. We'll also have prizes for the quickest writers, including an autographed copy of No Plot, No Problem.

Quick question. What do you use the phone number for on the registration page?

We always have done a little lunch after the Carol Stream write-in and before the Woodridge (and, this year, Warrenville) write-in. I was thinking perhaps we could try some different restaurants:

• Charkies - American fast food ("The food is classic "Chicago" fast food. Hot dogs, gyros, greek chicken and potatoes...etc." and you get a free bowl of soup)

• Pho Ha - Vietnamese restaurant - pho, bun, sounds very good

• WOW Egyptian Fast Food - looks really good - shawarma, falafel, hummus, etc.

So, anyone interested?

We just use the phone number to do reminder calls for people who don't leave an email. It doesn't go outside of the library. But anyone can RSVP via this thread if you prefer.
