When I thought up this story, I wanted it to be comedic. And then while plotting I realized I wanted to partially destroya relationship about 2/3 in. And now, 1.5K in, I introduce my first element of angst.

Is that a genre? Angst? Cuz I seem incapable of writing a story w/o it.

Angst is great! A component of conflict :)

day one adventures:

• trying to write when my brain is yelling "NO!" (despite not having ANY writers block AND drinking caffeinated tea to help! )
• trying to mentally plot while feeding a baby so that you have writing material when she is done eating
• trying to fit in ALL THE WORDS between feedings and 2 poopy diapers, starting laundry, folding laundry, and making dinner!
• having a goal to start writing as soon as laundry was started in the wash but having that fail when mom called and wanted to video chat for 30 minutes!
• finally getting to sit down and write for 4 hours while the kid napped!

all in all, i ended the day with 2,383! I am a proud mama!
