I feel you. This has been a rough year for Nano for me, too. I tried really hard and I'm proud of myself for writing anything. Maybe I'll finish this one by the time next Nanowrimo comes around. Glad you all were a part of this and happy to be included.

I'm also not going to make it for the first time in 7 years. I'm hoping to at least clear 30k though, maybe get to 35k, before the end of the day today. Good thing I'm staying home sick with a horrible hacky cough today that I hope doesn't turn into full blown bronchitis! Yay!

Also had somehealth issues earlier in the month where forabout 7 daysIfelt I needed to lay down all evening after work, making it pretty much impossible to write, which really put me way behind also.

Oh well. I had to break the streak at some point. I guess this is the year.

Hey, this was my seventh Nano, and my fifth time NOT reaching 50k. I don't think we have anything to be ashamed of, ESPECIALLY when health issues pick November to pop up. We all have more words written than we did one month ago. That, in itself, is a win. It is something we should be proud of.

I say, a hearty congratulations to all of us!
