Yesterday I missed the write-in at Glen Ellen because I had to rush my ferret to the emergency vet. Unfortunately, he had a bladder stone stuck in his urethra and they were unable to remove it through non-invasive means. Urethral surgery is extremely difficult on ferrets and, even if he underwent the procedure, his prognosis would still have been poor. So I made the difficult decision to euthanize. Loki was a very sweet little guy and he will be missed. :( Sorry for the sad news, everyone.
