Are you behind in your word count? Or seeking, perhaps, some extra motivation as we head into the final stretch? Can you average 3 thousand words a day for the last six days of November? Would it help to have some extra inducement? How about a dragon zipper pull?

Dragons have long been associated with inspiration, creativity and dignity. Well, maybe not always dignity.

Nevertheless, they are neat creatures thatsymbolize "valiance, heroism, boldness, self-confidence, power, excellence, perseverance, nobility, vitality and happiness".

Enter the challenge by replying to this thread. I will take your final wordcount at the end of November 24th and then from the 25th through the 30th (six days), you must average 3000 words per day for a total of 18K words in six days to win a dragon zipper pull (to be delivered at the TGIO or at a Journey meeting).

Thanksgiving weekend has put me pretty far behind so I will got for it but I can't get started until tomorrow.

I did 4000 last night. And I plan on another 4000 today--we shall persevere! Even if I don't ever get the dragon key chain, I will have a soul version in my heart if I accomplish my word count goal.

I'm in. So far, I'm on track. Going to the theater after work on the 28th, so we'll see.

Well, I have come up short on the 18k challenge, but I was able to finish my story. So thank you for the challenge, it was a great help. And I love the "Walking Dragon, Hidden Pebble" image in your initial post, Tim. Where did you get it? It's terrific.
