April 7th (Sunday) is the free Finding Your Writer’s Voice workshop (1:30-4:30 PM). Registration is required (there are only four spots open). Contact NewMexicoKid if you are interested in participating. This is a great way to get a better feel for what your writer’s voice is.
April 13th (Saturday) is the next Journey meeting (11:30 AM-3 PM at the Naperville Municipal Center, rooms BC in the lower level). Todd is giving a workshop on Ninja writing that should be very helpful (Ninja because you guide the reader to react the way you want them to without them realizing it).
April 21st (Sunday), we’re planning a possible trip to the Art Institute of Chicago, planning to write little stories inspired by the art that is there, sharing what we’ve written over lunch in one of their cafe’s and possibly finishing up at the Oasis Cafe.
