You may have noticed the nanowrimo site has been really slow since its reopening with a Drupal base. Russ (firebus) is working very hard to resolve all of the problems with the site, but what should you do if the site is inaccessible or unusable? Here are some thoughts…
- Visit our new local forums. You’ll need to register with the forums.
- Contribute to the NaperWriMo Wiki: this wiki has some nice resources, including:
- Useful references for writers with categorized links of useful references, articles, and tips.
- Book recommendations
- A page where you can introduce yourself to the other Illinois::Naperville participants.
And you are welcome to add other writing pages and resources. Just go to the site, register for your own login and follow the How to Edit instructions from the Wikipedia.
- Add yourself to our frappr map and see the geographical diversity of our western-suburbs-based region.
- Plan your 2007 NaNo novel: less than a month remains to the start of NaNoWriMo. Do you know where your plot is? Meredith has planned three terrific plot preparation workshops for October that can be very helpful (the next one is on Tuesday, October 10th).
