We have a Jabber chat room that is used for virtual write-ins (and meetings of the Journey, our year-round writing group). Anyone needing a jabber account, please send me nanomail. Soliciting ideas for a medieval (bow & arrow) hunting accident that is potentially serious, but everything turns out okay in the end. I am thinking of my two characters engaging in some one-upmanship (not that ~18 year old males would EVER do that type of thing ;) ! ), some sort of serious accident happens (terrain: wooded and/or mountainous), and basically I am looking to get one character indebted to the other; hence, trying to set the scene for a life-saving rescue.

Just a reminder that we have a jabber chat meeting tonight (10/11/2010), 8:00 PM CST.
We might try an online word war to loosen up the ol' fingers...
Those interested in writing short stories might consider joining one of the two short story anthologies, part of the Journey, our year-round writing group. We need to come up with a reasonable new schedule that will accommodate new submissions...
After a great presentation by Crystal this past weekend on POV, we might have a discussion on that topic and maybe try a few exercises.
