I'm going to try. All three kids are home including the daughter who doesn't do NaNo, but she sleeps late, so I have hopes.
(And, yes, I could be writing right now since they all disappeared upstairs to wrap Hannukah presents, but they'll be back soon.)

I'm definitely writing on Turkey Day. I tend to make things explode in the kitchen, so I don't help cook. So I'll use that time to write.

----------

Peace is but a shadow of death,
Desperate to forget it's painful past...
Though we hope for promising years
After shedding a thousand tears,
Yesterday's sorrow constantly nears
And while the moon still shines blue,
By dawn, it will turn to scarlet h

I'm going to try to get a couple hundred words in, but I know I won't get in all 1,667.
