I'm sure that some people will find this funny.

I just spent a frustrating hour trying to get my word count to validate--even trying a different computer and browser. Barry suggested I might be past some internal limit--sure enough, taking half the document worked. (And then updating my word count afterward.)

Now, back to finishing that first draft is what I really consider winning. (Still, the purple bar is nice.)

(it's a known limitation, but I didn' hit it last year, for some reason and didn't remember it was there--and there's not a useful error message--it just goes off to never-never land.)

Yea, that's it!

I had the same problem and had to lop off over 100K before I could validate.

I also have some ocean view property for sale in Nevada if anyone is interested.

I got impatient yesterday and changed my time zone so I could validate early. :)

I had problems validating--then it validated me automatically at 1 a.m.

*scratches head*
